Terracotta

screenshot.pngI released this theme before 2 weeks, but I didn’t have time to share it with you. Here it is now, my last creation - Terracotta.

Very, very well done. I like the refreshing color set, especially amidst the countless “All I did was change the banner” themes.

Layout is very nice - beautiful gradients and tight borders.

Your best one yet - Thanks very much!

Well done it’s a very beautyfull theme !!!

I only noticed one problem viewing it in IE; when you click a link in the calendar or category the article shows up at the bottom of the site.

In Firefox evrything’s fine.

Is there a fix for it !

Greetz and keep up the good work !

Hi, Fonkiebonkie,

Thanks for your feedback. I’ll see where the problem can be after a few hours. And will publish an update after that. Btw, you got a nice nickname :).

Hi,

I have modified CSS a little and it seems the problem in IE on categories has solved. It seemed that the problem was “pagetitle” class which had width=100% .. I have removed width and everything seems fine now. Class looks like this now:

div.pagetitle {
font-size: 1.6em;
font-weight: bold;
text-align: left;
padding: .5em 0em;
margin-left: 31px;
background-image: url(images/post_header_background.jpg);
background-position: top right;
background-repeat: repeat-y;
background-color: #625341;
}

so no width=100%.

Your templates are great … keep up the good work ;)

Hi, Dan,

Thank you for giving me a hand. I didn’t have much time to take care about this problem, so your help is invaluable.

I’m glad I could help you … this is the second template I use from you so it’s the least I could do ;) If you want to see another modification of Rusty template you can check it out here: http://www.economice.ro … but the site is in romanian :)

I never thought that Rusty could look so impressive in dark red. Excellent job. I’m very glad to meet someone developing these themes with style.

Yes … I think you can make lots of versions different colored from these three templates … it would be quite nice to be able to change colors only from CSS :) but i know there are fades, margins, shadows so kind of impossible to do it only with CSS and still keep the general shape and look - but I guess you have design in photoshop format maybe so should be easier to play with colors
